Now Hiring: Apprentice Dog Trainer at East of Eden Rescue — Stipend Paid, All Supplies Provided

Do you have a passion for dogs and a desire to build real training skills?
East of Eden Rescue (EOE) — a nonprofit companion animal rescue — is looking for an apprentice dog trainer to join our mission of guiding animals toward home.
This is not just a volunteer position. It is a structured, supported apprenticeship with real benefits and real-world experience.
What EOE provides
Foster in your home
- The dog lives with you during training
All supplies furnished
- Food, equipment, and more — covered by EOE
Professional training
- Guided sessions with our certified trainer

How it works
As an EOE apprentice trainer, a rescue dog will be fostered in your home while you work through a professional training curriculum alongside our lead trainer. EOE supplies everything you need — food, equipment, and ongoing support — so you can focus entirely on building your skills and the dog’s confidence. When training is complete, that dog walks into their forever home better prepared because of you.
